Jeep Wranglers are born to go offroading, be it in the sand, snow, rocks, or mud. Even a stock Jeep Wrangler is an incredibly capable off-road machine, however if you really want to enjoy some off-road adventures, you're going to need a wrangler lift kit. A Jeep lift will allow you to run larger tires, and to get over larger obstacles without bottoming out (having a rock hit the bottom of your Jeep).

If you are looking to go over 3" high, you'll need a traditional Wrangler suspension lift. With this setup the sky is the limit, however it costs more than a budget boost.
